چکیده

Motivated both by the advantage of Hatch filter gain over Kalman-type gain in carriersmoothed-code filtering, this paper proposes a position-domain Hatch filter for differential kinematic satellite positioning. In general, position-domain filtering is more attractive than range-domain filtering since less information is lost if changes in the visible satellite set occurs frequently. A new interpretation of the conventional range-domain Hatch filter is presented. The new interpretation is extended to position-domain carrier-smoothed-code filtering, resulting in the position-domain Hatch filter. A simulation result verifies that the proposed position-domain Hatch filter performs better than conventional carrier-smoothedcode filters in cases of frequent satellite constellation changes, and even when there is no satellite set change, due to the synergism between Hatch gain and position-domain filtering.

Position Domain Filtering and Range Domain Filtering for Carrier- Smoothed-Code DGNSS: An Analytical Comparison

Carrier-smoothed-code filters for differential Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) positioning can be partitioned into two groups: position domain filters and range domain filters. In carrier-smoothed-code filtering, noise terms of incremental carrier phase act as equivalent propagation noise. The equivalent propagation noises in carrier-smoothed-code filtering are temporally correlated a...

Instantaneous Real-Time Kinematic Decimeter-Level Positioning with BeiDou Triple-Frequency Signals over Medium Baselines

Many applications, such as marine navigation, land vehicles location, etc., require real time precise positioning under medium or long baseline conditions. In this contribution, we develop a model of real-time kinematic decimeter-level positioning with BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) triple-frequency signals over medium distances. The ambiguities of two extra-wide-lane (EWL) combinatio...

Iranian Permanent GPS Network Receivers Differential Code Biases Estimation Using Global Ionospheric Maps

Measurements of the dual frequency Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers can be used to calculate the electron density and the total electron content (TEC) of the ionosphere layer of the Earth atmosphere. TEC is a key parameter for investigating the ongoing spatial and temporal physical process of the ionosphere. For accurate estimation of TEC from GPS measurements, GPS satellites and GPS r...

An Algorithm for Combined Code and Carrier Phase Based Gps Positioning∗

The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a satellite based navigation system. GPS satellites transmit signals that allow one to quite accurately estimate the location of GPS receivers. In GPS a typical technique for kinematic position estimation is relative positioning where two receivers are used, one receiver is stationary and its exact position is known, the other is roving and its position is...

Multi-Stage Satellite Phase and Code Bias Estimation

Precise point positioning with satellite navigation signals requires knowledge of satellite code and phase biases. In this paper, a new multi-stage method is proposed for estimating of these biases using measurements from a geodetic network. The method first subtracts all available a priori knowledge on orbits, satellite clocks and multipath from the measurements to reduce their dynamics. Secon...
